Course contents
A series of seven double-lectures is given on the following subjects:
- Structure of materials;
- Metallurgy I;
- Metallurgy II;
- Polymer science;
- Concrete and glass;
- Composites;
- Thematic lecture aimed at the research.
Study goals
- Knowledge of science of materials and relevance for building technology- Knowledge of properties of materials
- Knowledge of structure of materials
- Knowledge of the relationship between properties of materials and structure of materials
- Knowledge of the possibilities for influencing the structure
- Skills in performing elementary research into materials as evidenced by a written report on a small-scale science of materials research project.
